Forward integration

Five steps from supplying metal to building the wagon. The measure is how much of a finished wagon each step covers.

  1. April 2021 Metallurgical raw material 12% of a wagon Began as a supplier of specialised metallurgical raw materials to major wagon builders in India, building industry experience and an understanding of the railway components being supported.
  2. 2022 CNC machine shop 30% of a wagon First step in forward integration: established a CNC machine shop, moving from supplying materials to machining railway components for major wagon and coach builders.
  3. 2023 Integrated plant, 7,200 sq m 58% of a wagon Second integration: acquired 7,200 sq. metres and constructed a fully integrated plant manufacturing safety parts for bogies and couplers — braking, coupling, suspension and propulsion systems — all RDSO approved.
  4. Present Complete bogies and couplers Planned 78% of a wagon Establishing a dedicated manufacturing facility to produce complete bogies and couplers, the core foundation of railway carriages.
